NOTICE OF CREATIVE CLUNES INC 2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WHEN: Sunday 13 October 2024 @ 3:30PM WHERE: Clunes Railway Station - 80 Service Street, Clunes WHO: All welcome to attend and hear our plans for the 20025 Booktown Festival. Financial Members are eligible to vote.   AGENDA: Confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting; Approved the annual report of the Board on the activities of the Association; Approve the financial statements of the Association for the preceding financial year; to elect the members of the Board; to confirm or vary the amounts (if any) of the annual subscription and joining fee. If you are a financial member, and unable to attend please submit an apology. Booktown on Sunday - immerse yourself in Clunes, from cover to cover!   Held on the second Sunday each month, to tie in with the wonderful Clunes Farmers and Makers Market in the morning, and we're hosting them in our lovely historic home of the Clunes Railway Station. So plan for a lovely drive into town or catch the train!   We'll throw open the doors at 11:00am, when there will be a pre-loved book stall, with an author talk to follow at 1:30pm - so there is ample time to explore the market and grab a bite of lunch. We aim to be wrapped up by 3pm so you can catch the train home if needed.   Entry is free (but please book a ticket), with drinks available to buy throughout the author talk, along with some networking opportunities afterwards.     Join host, Jacqui Horwood, in conversation with Mark Mupotsa-Russell, author of "The Hitwoman's Guide to Reducing Household Debt". Olivia Hodges used to do horrible things – back when she worked for a Spanish crime syndicate – but she fled that life and moved home to Australia, building a family in the hipster community of the Dandenong Ranges.
